The Amrita Vidyalayam family came together on Tuesday, 3rd October to celebrate the 70th birthday of our beloved Amma, the guiding light and inspiration behind our institution. The celebration was marked by a heartwarming ceremony of lighting 70 diyas on the auspicious Aum symbol, and offering flowers to Amma, symbolizing our love, gratitude, and reverence for her.
The event commenced with a serene and soulful prayer, setting the tone for the day’s festivities. Students, teachers, and staff members gathered in the Assembly Hall of our school, creating an atmosphere brimming with anticipation and devotion.
