On Thursday, 15th August 2024, Amrita Vidyalayam celebrated Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour. The program began with a morning prayer, followed by the flag hoisting ceremony led by our esteemed Principal, accompanied by the National Anthem. The traditional lighting of the lamp marked the official start of the festivities.
The celebration featured a variety of performances that captivated the audience. Students from classes 1 to 3 charmed everyone with a delightful fancy dress presentation, while the little ones from pre-nursery to KG performed an adorable dance. Students from classes 1 and 2 sang melodious songs, and class 4 energized the crowd with a lively dance. Akhya from Class 10 delivered a powerful speech on the significance of Independence Day, followed by a spirited dance performance by Class 6.
Classes 3 to 5 sang a patriotic song, and Ranvita from Class 10 recited a heartfelt Hindi poem. The musical performances continued with students from classes 6 and 7, and then classes 8 to 10, singing a series of melodious songs. The program concluded with an inspiring speech by Richa Ma’am (SST teacher), Amma’s Aarti, and the distribution of sweets to all students.
