The much-awaited Inter-House Competitions at Amrita Vidyalayam was held on 27th and 28th December 2024, bringing together students from all grades to showcase their talents, teamwork, and sportsmanship. The event, designed to foster camaraderie and a healthy spirit of competition, featured a wide array of activities.
The first day was filled with a diverse array of competitions, including Mimicry, Ad Enactment, Storytelling, News Presentation, Shloka Chanting, Elocution, Extempore, Calligraphy, Handwriting, and Tattoo Making. The second day comprised enchanting and soul-stirring singing and dancing competitions which had both solo and group performances.
Highlights of the event:
- Cultural Performances: Each house presented vibrant performances including group dances, skits, and musical ensembles. The audience was captivated by the creativity and effort displayed by the students.
- Quiz and Debate: Academic excellence took centre stage during the quiz and debate competitions, where participants demonstrated their knowledge, quick thinking, and eloquence.
- Art and Creativity: Students from class 1 to 10 showcased their artistic talents through painting, tattoo making, and calligraphy, leaving everyone in awe of their creativity.
Throughout the day, the school campus resonated with cheers and applause as the four houses – Rig Veda, Sam Veda, Yajur Veda and Atharva Veda – vied for the coveted championship trophy. Each house demonstrated exceptional teamwork and determination, making it a tough decision for the judges.
Our Principal Ma’am applauded the efforts of all the participants as well as teachers for their dedication in making the event a grand success. The competition was graced by esteemed judges, Mrs. Richa Mishra, a reputed educator of Lucknow, and her daughter Ms. Bhavya Mishra. Their valuable insights and fair judgment encouraged the students to perform well.
The Inter-House Competition not only celebrated the talents of our students, but also instilled a sense of unity and school spirit that will resonate long after the event.
