Amrita Vidyalayam, Lucknow celebrated the 71st Republic Day of India on January 26, 2020. The students took pride in glorifying and celebrating the spirit of unity, patriotism and brotherhood. The celebration started with the hoisting of the National Flag by Manager Bri. Anjana. Various cultural programmes were performed by the students; they also wore tri-coloured clothes to mark the occasion, giving a glimpse of the unity in diversity of the nation. In her address, Vice-principal Ms. Renuka Bhardwaj highlighted the significance of the day and made the children aware that the future of their country lay in their hands. She said that they should study well now and inculcate good values in life, which would help them to be good citizens of the country. The program ended with the message to create a great nation through the collective efforts of all individuals and the national anthem.
